Alpha

Alpha is a 10-week opportunity for anyone and everyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting.  You will come and feast together, fellowship, view a DVD and then have a discussion together.

Over 13 million people worldwide have attended an Alpha Course.  Sue Schell, a trained Alpha leader, has lead this course at Salem many times in the past, leading at least 100 Salem members through the program.  This fall she will be joined by Derrick and Michelle Smith, recent Alpha students, to lead the study.  This session will be held September 8th through November 10th.

People attend Alpha for a variety of reasons.  Some want to investigate if God exists or if there is any point to life.  Others may have attended church their whole lives but never understood the basics of the Christian faith.  Everyone comes with the same objective, to determine whether Jesus Christ has any relevance for their lives.
