Salem supports the following missionaries.

Bill Lovelace continues as the superintendent of the Kiev District in the Ukraine.  He and his wife travel around the district helping the struggling churches.  One of Bill and Helen’s passions is working with the Street Children of Kiev. Learn more

Miguel Arenas, after four years of teaching at the Escuela y Liceo Crando in Salto, Uraguay, has been made pastor of San Lucas Methodist Church in Paysandú. He is working with the small congregation to reach out to the community. Miguel is also very involved in restoring the Camp Center.  Learn more

Daniel and Kris-Ann Wilcox are our missionaries to Unalaska, Alaska.  Dan is Pastor Paul and Joy's son!  Learn more

In addition to these three missionaries, we recently began a relationship with the Hal-Smith UMC in Jaiama, Sierra Leone.  Getting an email to the pastor, the Rev T. Joseph, is difficult and takes time since there are few computers and the country is often without electricity.  If  - at any time - you would like to contribute to the work of our Missionaries checks can be written to Fishing Creek Salem UMC with “Missionary Support” in the Memo.
